Description: The black-and-white footage by Dresden ENT physician Gerhard Schneider documents the first Reich Garden Show, which was held in Dresden from April 24 to October 11, 1936. This exhibition took place in 14 halls on an area of 400,000 square meters, included the Great Garden, the area at Stübelplatz, today Strassburger Platz, where the Transparent Factory is located, and today's Cockerwiese (formerly Blüherwiese). At that time, 3.2 million visitors saw the Imperial Garden Show.
